Day 2: The next morning we went out for breakfast at a wonderful hole in the wall that Jorge found.





2. Random Places, But they were pretty
3. Yankee stadium, where they were having a huge sale so we grabbed our friend a gift^.^
I was to worried about eating my croissant so I waited outside and enjoyed the weather.

4. The Guggenheim Museum 
As an architecture student I felt obligated to go.. I'd never felt passionate about the building before but having been there, it really changed the way I see it. I mean I still don't love it, but I have a new found respect for it. 
























5. Then we went back to The Vessel to climb its numerous stairs. Right next to it was The Shed. Nice 2 for 1 deal. Haha 























6.  We spent the rest of the evening in Time Square

Jorge was taking pictures when a man walked up with a nice camera and just started taking our picture. He said I'll take some and you can see if you want them or not.. haha he got us. He took great pictures so of course, we bought them.

Hello hello, welcome back! Ready for part 3? Portugal!! Bom Dia, Belém! (Good morning, Belém!) June 18, 2018   May 30, 2018 Day 2 in Europe  Oh boy! Lisbon has so many sites to see and things to do. We jam packed the day on a whim and it was so much fun. The easiest way is to start at the beginning.  1. First we walked to downtown Lisbon. We didn't do much and finding our way was pretty simple. You just have to follow the tram tracks. On our way down we passed churches and museums and snapped a few quick photos. We also ate fresh, local fruit which I highly recommend if you ever find yourself in this beautiful city.  2. Next we found the metro. Then from the metro we switched to the train that took us to Belém. Europe 2018 - Part 2 - New York

Hello again! Welcome back. I hope you are all well and ready for another blast from the past. :) Europe part 2. First time flying and New York! Howdy! Today Is the day! May 29, 2018 Truthfully, 2 days ago was the day. It was hard to find time to write when trying to fit in 2 flights and a trip to Times Square in one day! So it's the next day and here's the what you should know about my first flight and trip to New York.  1. I found myself above the clouds. We arrive at the airport and I'm still not nervous. In fact, I felt indifferent about it. My friend checked me in, thank goodness. I would have been absolutely lost walking in by myself. It was Spirit Airlines so you just walk up to the kiosk and print your ticket. Then head to the checked baggage line for a large bag or straight to TSA if you only have a carry on and personal item. Europe 2018 - Part 4

Welcome back! Where to begin with this one... Uhhh, well, here are some lessons learned. Lesson Learned! July 9, 2018 | Rebekah Mireles It's impossible to take a 2 week trip to another country and not learn anything. Whether it be facts or history about your destination or lessons you can only learn by doing. By that I mean, when you royally mess up but you're in another country so your only option IS to learn from it. Yep. That was me. It was a tough pill to swallow but what I got from it makes it worth it. It’s wasn’t all  that  bad though.  (From left to right: Me, Jorge and Hayley.
